Nadszedł czas na poświąteczny spacer po iluminowanym parku. Od lat sprowadza on do Oliwy tysiące turystów i mieszkańców Gdańska. Dość wspomnieć, że pierwszy raz gdy iluminacje były tak spektakularne (2016 rok) to tłumy były takie, że trawniki przed Pałacem Opackim po paru miesiącach musiano zupełnie wymienić. POLISH

First of all, there is a place where many people take photos - the inscription Gdańsk with a heart. I have noticed for several years that there are more and more such cities. I would like to see such illuminated inscriptions for the longest place names in Poland (Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki). They could be arranged in a circle :)

Na początek miejsce gdzie wielu robi sobie zdjęcia a jest to napis Gdańsk z serduszkiem. Zauważam od paru lat, że takich miast jest coraz więcej. Chciałbym zobaczyć takie podświetlone napisy dla najdłuższych nazw miejscowości w Polsce (Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki). Mogłyby być ustawione w kółku.

Następnie przejście najpiękniejszą parkową aleją w postaci zielonego tunelu (bindaż lipowo-grabowy). Teraz ozdabiają go statki na podłużnym stawie, ale w dzień warto pomyśleć o tym, że był to dawny widok na może i zabawa perspektywą. Całość wyglądała tak jakby parkowy staw rozlewał się do morza.

I was particularly impressed by the moon and the way it was reflected in the sea. It was not without reason that U-boat commanders disliked the full moon so much.

100 metrów wyżej widok wynagrodził nam trud spaceru. Zimowe widoki są jednymi z najciekawszych. A nocne pejzaże też robią wrażenie. Na mnie szczególne wrażenie zrobił księżyc i to jak odbijał się w morzu. Nie bez przyczyny dowódcy U-Bootów tak nie lubili pełni księżyca.

I knew the view in the other direction much better, although there was a lot of light. On the sides, the roof of the cathedral (on the left) and the former Evangelical church, today the Cistercian church. In the middle, the tall Olivia Star office building.

Widok w drugą stronę znałem dużo lepiej choć światła było nad wyraz dużo. Po bokach dach katedry (po lewej) oraz dawnego kościoła ewangelickiego, dziś kościoła cystersów. Na środku wysoki biurowiec Olivia Star.

You can visit and see all of the above places for free when visiting Gdańsk, specifically the Oliwa district. The places visited were Oliwski Park (entrance from Opata Rybińskiego Street) and the Pachołki hill with an entrance via stairs from the address Spacerowa 16B.
